I wasnt sure where to put this but put it here as it really a WoW offer.
I logged into battle.net this morning and there is an offer on the right hand side of the screen to say i was eligible for free diablo 3, and i imagine most of you will be too.
All you have to do is commit to playing wow for 12 months, this is the bit you sign up for, have a eligible paid for account on the 18/10/2011 and be paying by credit card, not prepaid cards, and when diablo III gets released you can get the full game through battle.net for free.
I already had it pre-ordered so have just cancelled that.

They announced it at Blizzcon, you also get an automatic sign-up for MoP beta.
For those that have already ordered the collectors edition Diablo, I believe Blizz will give you an extra 3/4 months wow sub for free.

For those signing up, you are signing up for a year, so do the 6 months, it saves you about £8 over the year.

i havent read anything of Blizzcon yet need to catch up.
At first i thought it would be a bad idea commerially giving so many copies of diablo away for free, but then i suppose they think that as soon as it launches people will cancel their wow subscriptions for a while and this stops people doing that.
They only really need to get 3 months wow subscription out of people to cover the cost of the diablo game, they only loose out on people like me that would have bought the game and kept my sub t wow open anyway, bonus for me :-)

Indeed.
I have done the same, signup for 6month payments and the year subscription.
It's a sweet deal, diablo, mount and beta access.
